We love bringing our pups and pooches for a wonderful day out, and we’re super lucky to have places in Kingston where our dogs can tag along with us. Since they’re such perfect dining companions, restaurants and cafes are becoming more and more accepting, with some even offering tempting treats and water bowls for our canine friends to enjoy!

Whether it’s grabbing a quick coffee after a dog walks with your family, or bringing your pooches to brunch with friends, read on to find out which restaurants and cafes in Kingston your beloved pup can visit!

Megan’s, at the Griffin

Megan’s popularity isn’t limited to its delicious Mediterranean cuisine and bottomless brunch, but also for being dog-friendly! With a beautiful and dreamy interior that reminds us of a place along some far-flung Mediterranean beach, offers delicious sharing platters with a twist (lots of halloumi, kebabs, and more)!

Here at Megan’s, dogs are offered tasty treats and freshwater bowls to keep them occupied and relaxed during your meal.

Local Hero, Thames St

An independent and cosy café nestled behind the Ancient Market Place, Local Hero provides quality brunches and has its unique espresso blend with Northern Italian heritage – the air is filled with a sweet aroma from the freshly roasted coffee beans.

The good news is that this is also a dog-friendly café! So bring your pooches in and enjoy a cup of coffee at Local Hero!

Druids Head, Market Place

One of the oldest and treasured buildings in Kingston, Druids Head was constructed in the early 16th Century, with most of its architecture still intact to this day. The pub offers premium quality food, wines, lagers, and ales for you to enjoy both indoors and outside in its patio beer garden.

Dogs are also welcome both inside and out, perfect all year round for warm summer days and chilly winter nights!
