Between The Lines is a multi-award-winning lifestyle family-run business with 18 stores across the South of England, specialising in beautiful, inspiring gifts, cards, and books for friends, family, and your home.
Founded in 1964 by Norman Brine, the first store opened in Midhurst, Sussex. The shop has been trading successfully ever since, providing a friendly and efficient service to the local community. Norman’s daughter, Lindsey, along with her husband, Florian, joined the business in the mid-80s opening two more stores in Godalming and Alton.
Since then, Between The Lines has grown and expanded it’s locations across the South of England with the aim of spreading it’s core mission to ‘celebrate the joy of giving’.
