Erika Tan: Barang-Barang Book Launch & Talk

Visit the Dorich House Museum for Erika Tan’s Barang-Barang book launch.

As an extension to the intergenerational transnational connections and conversations made within Tan’s Stanley Picker Fellowship project Barang-Barang, Erika Tan has on the occasion of her artist publication book launch invited Fiona Fisher, Rebecca Fortnum and Lucy Reynolds to be in-conversation. Together, these four artist, curators, researchers and academics will unpick and share some of their approaches to impacting historical amnesias, through creative practices and centering the work of women.

The main moving image work for the exhibition Barang-Barang: Spectural Entanglements (2022) was filmed on location at Dorich House Museum. The film will be screened throughout the day at Dorich House Museum from 11am.

Copies of the book (limited edition of 50) will be available to purchase at the event.
