Lantern Making Workshops

As part of Light Up Kingston, head to FUSEBOX to make your own lantern and celebrate the heritage of Kingston’s lamplighters and candlemakers. The Community Brain will be highlighting Kingston’s historic candle factory and candle shop, which opened in Kingston Market Place in 1762, by hosting a free community Light Procession on Sunday 16 March.
You’re invited to bring your completed lantern from this workshop, to listen to the story of Kingston’s lamplighter and then take part in the procession, walking from Kingston Market Place to Kingston Museum Green.
