Bentall Centre launches exhibition to mark its 30th anniversary
The Bentall Centre have launched their 30:30 exhibition celebrating those who have dedicated their lives to Kingston, and local unsung heroes. They need your help to find them!
This year, The Bentall Centre, Kingston celebrates its 30th anniversary. Since opening its doors on 1st November 1982, the iconic structure has become a mainstay of the town sitting at the heart of the community but as we all know, it’s the people that make a place.
So to celebrate, the Centre will be shining a light on 30 people who have dedicated a part of their life to Kingston, to make it the vibrant town it is today, telling their stories and championing their good deeds through an exciting photographic exhibition displayed within the beautiful architecture of the Bentall Centre.
Within the exhibition, there will be a selected number of places to heroes nominated by the community, the “People’s Champions”. The Bentall Centre want to track down those unsung heroes who have given a part of themselves to help their community and deserve to be recognized. And they need your help to find them!
Do you know someone whose selflessness goes uncelebrated? Perhaps they teach in your school, work in your community, or pass you by every day with a smile?
