Power supply works expected in Kingston

From the 29th January until early March, power supply works may impact local traffic and access to certain areas in Kingston.

Unilever power supply works are expected to commence on Monday 29 January 2024 and will likely continue until Friday 22nd March which may impact local traffic and access to certain areas in Kingston.

The project will involve Eden Street being closed northbound for the period. Full access will be maintained southbound and traffic will be directed one way. Access to Lady Booth Road, Brook Street and Ashdown Road will remain open. Access to Neville House Car park and service / delivery yard will also remain open.

Works will take place overnight from 20.00 – 06.00 Mon – Sat and 22.00 – 04.00 on Sundays.

A northbound diversion will be in place which will take vehicles onto Wheatfield Way and around to access Eden Street southbound from the Clarence Street junction.
